Accessibility Statement

N-Tidal Diagnose 1 Dashboard · Revision 2.0 (last reviewed 5 October 2026)

Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the N-Tidal Diagnose 1 Dashboard ("N-Tidal Diagnose" or "Dashboard") found at https://dashboard.tidalsense.com, including the PDF test reports it generates.

Our commitment

TidalSense Limited ("TidalSense") is committed to making N-Tidal Diagnose accessible. TidalSense is not a public sector body, but the Dashboard is used to deliver NHS services, so this statement follows the model accessibility statement for the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 ("Accessibility Regulations").

TidalSense is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. We are committed to ongoing improvements to accessibility as part of our regular development cycle.

Conformance status

N-Tidal Diagnose partially conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines ("WCAG") version 2.2 AA standard due to the gaps listed below. We acknowledge that our product currently contains some accessibility barriers that need to be addressed, as identified through automated and manual testing and internal review processes. Our most recent audit tested against WCAG 2.1 AA. We are assessing the Dashboard against the additional success criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2 and will add any further gaps identified to this statement.

Non-accessible content

The following parts of N-Tidal Diagnose are not fully accessible. Each item listed below fails to meet the respective WCAG success criterion shown in brackets.

Non-conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA

  • Some parts of the Dashboard cannot be used by people who rely on a keyboard for navigation. This means that if a user can't use a mouse, they might not be able to access certain features or complete tasks on impacted pages (WCAG clause 2.1.1).
  • When navigating the Dashboard using a keyboard, it can be difficult to tell which element is currently selected. There isn't a clear visual outline or highlighting that shows where the user's keyboard focus is, which can make it hard to navigate effectively (WCAG clause 2.4.7).
  • Some of the images on the Dashboard contain text within them. This means that people who use screen readers or need to enlarge the text may have difficulty reading or accessing this information, as it isn't presented as regular text (WCAG clause 1.4.5).
  • Some images on the Dashboard that are purely for decoration are still announced by screen readers. This can be distracting and add unnecessary clutter for users who rely on screen readers to understand the page content (WCAG clause 1.1.1).
  • Some interactive elements on the Dashboard, such as forms or buttons, are not clearly labelled for screen reader users. This means that people using screen readers might not understand what a particular element is for or how to interact with it (WCAG clauses 4.1.2, 3.3.2).
  • The headings on the Dashboard are not always used in a screen reader-friendly order, which can make it difficult for screen reader users to understand the organisation of the page and navigate through the content easily (WCAG clauses 1.3.1, 2.4.6).

What we're doing to improve accessibility

We are working through an accessibility roadmap to fix the issues listed above, with the aim of meeting WCAG 2.2 AA by 31 December 2027. We are planning to build accessibility checks into our software design and development process.

Accessible browsing experience

Enhancing visibility

We recognise that some users may have low vision or visual impairments. To support these users, we recommend utilising the built-in accessibility features of your web browser. Most modern browsers, such as Edge and Chrome, offer options to adjust the page zoom, font size, and colour settings to suit your individual needs. These settings can greatly improve the readability and visibility of the Dashboard.

Zooming in and out

If you need to enlarge or reduce the size of the content on the Dashboard, you can easily do so using your browser's zooming capabilities. On a Windows PC, press Ctrl and + to zoom in and Ctrl and - to zoom out. On a Mac, use Cmd and + to zoom in and Cmd and - to zoom out. You can also maximise the browser window by clicking the resize icon to make the content fill the entire screen.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was initially prepared on 15 April 2025, following an accessibility audit conducted by TidalSense using automated and manual testing tools. The statement was last reviewed on 5 October 2026.
